This opal has one of the most vibrant colourings I have come across in the last 3 years of working with opals. It has an epic neon pink, green, yellow and blue band running across it, with a directional flash, meaning the colour moves and disappears as you turn the opal. It measures in at 8.5 x 8mm, and originates from Winton, Queensland, Australia.
I think this would make for a wonderful ring stone, that way you can get lost in its colours all day long as they play around with the movements of your hand. Feel free to choose 'Makers Choice' for Orientation if you go for a ring, that way I will pick the orientation that provides most colour for your ring.

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
