Vibrant rainbow coloured opal, within its ironstone host rock. The vibrant colours are found directionally as flashes across this opal, with red, orange, blue and green being most common colours, its colours don't show the same at any angle, making it a true beauty to get lost in. It measures in at 10 x 8.5mm, and originates from Winton, Queensland, Australia.
I think this piece would be great for various designs, a ring so you can always get lost in its colours, but it is also a nice size for a simple pendant design, or also would be cool on a cuff bracelet.

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
