This boulder opal is certainly small but mighty. Filled with vibrant royal and rich blue colours, and it measures in at 9 x 3mm, and originates from Winton, Queensland, Australia.
This piece I would only recommend for it to be made into a ring as it is quite small for anything else. I would personally set it simply or with a sunburst surround on a 1.3mm band. As always the choice of design is yours!

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
