This tiny crystal opal predominantly shows pink flecks within it, but it does also have lots of rainbow flashes across it when observed from specific angles (the photos do not do this justice). The opal measures in at 7 x 4.5mm, and originates from Coober Pedy, Australia.
This opal would make such a gorgeous simple ring, set vertically with a simple 1.3mm band. As always the choice is yours.

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
