The dark blue boulder opal is filled with vibrant specks of green and blue. It measures in at 12 x 6mm, and originates from Queensland, Australia.
I think this opal would be a perfect ring stone, set on a simple 1.5mm band with a sunburst surround. However as always, the choice of design is yours.

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
