I am so sorry that these images do this opal zero justice. My camera hates white opals. This one is so gorgeous and full of colour. The colours are much more vibrant in person, with pink being its most prominent colour, but you can also see flashes of purple, green and yellow. It measures in at 10 x 6.5mm, and originates from Coober Pedy, South Australia.
I would absolutely adore to see this opal set in 9ct yellow gold. It would really bring its colours to life and contrast so beautifully against the gold. Simply set, vertically, on a 1.3mm band would be gorgeous! Of course the choice is always yours.

All opal photographs are shot using a macro lens under natural lighting. The colours are never edited. I will guarantee you will find the opals even more beautiful in person - even though they do look pretty epic in photos.
